Pen + Ink
Learn how to have fun using pen and ink! In this class we will learn how to use the various materials used in ink drawings. We will try micron pens, brushes and pen and ink nibs to explore the basics of ink drawing. Drawing with pen and ink allows the artist to create strong areas of contrast. Most ink drawings are completed using black inks on white surfaces which allows for a heavy contrast in value. Ink washes, heavy line work and variation in tone and textures will be explored!
Recommended class prior to this would be our Beginning drawing where we cover value in detail.
